What is Favicon ?



  A Favicon is small  square size (16*16 or32*32 )pixel icon, catches eyes of your site readers , displayed on left side of any currently visit site in title section .Full name of Favicon is Favorite icon .It is also known as shortcut icon, website icon,tab icon,URL icon or bookmark icon. Basically ,It have first character of blog title or logo of that blog or website. Favicon must be in PNG or ICO format. Now let us discuss steps for add or change favicon in blogger.

How to change or add Favicon in Blogger ?

Follow the following steps to add or change a favicon :-
1.Sign in to www.blogger.com.
2.Set your blog title .

3.Goto  dashboard →layout→favicon section and click edit . 
4.If favicon not appear in layout ,switch to classic version of blogger.
NOTE: generate ICO.file creative favicon on favicon.io.
5.Upload favicon ,please use a square image that's less than 100KB and in PNG or ICO format.
6.Click on "choose  File".
7.Select your .ico icon file from your computer storage hard disk,then click 'save'.

NOTE:- It might take some time to appear on any web Browser.
